Be sure to follow her blog, so you won't miss out on any of the future excitement over there!
As for me... Artfire imports etsy items, but you must use some sort of office spreadsheet savey-thingy.  I was very fortunate that some of my dear friends on Facebook came to my rescue.  Now, if I only knew how to USE office software, spreadsheets, and savey-thingys for transferring things into other files.  Yup!  I'm not very tch savvy.  Some computer things, I'm very good at...office software4 is not one of them!
"So, how do you keep your shop spending and earnings records you ask"?  First, I'll give you a couple hints: I will be 55 later this month, and I've only had a computer since 2007, which was a huge IBM dinosaur!  I keep shop/buisness spending (done on line), in an email folder. I keep paper receipts in files marked by year.  One for shop fees & shop related fees. I keep a file of incoming money (yup) in an email folder, and print outs of invoices in another (paper) file.
If I would lose all of my email folders, I would still have paper back-ups.  So, I still do most things in the old fashioned way.  I actually believe it to be a better way. Paper files can't catch viruses, or just go kaput without notice. They only run out of memory if the papers get pretty wet.  I am more comfortable operating like this. I raise my coffee cup to "old-fashioned-ality!
So..I am slowly, very slowly adding items to my new shop. Maybe I'll figure out the spreadsheet brain teaser, BUT....

I did want to share with you that I'm offering FREE domestic (USA & CANADA) as a Valentine's Day shopping sale!
I'll go ahead and post my shop link again for you. And, I'll be adding items daily & have begun new projects!  One of my friends posted this on Facebook the other day, And I think it well worth sharing, So, I'll leave you with this:

SOMETHING TO PONDER: George Carlin

George Carlin's wife died early in 2008 and George followed her, dying in July 2008. It is ironic George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent and so very appropriate. An observation by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

  1. I love George Carlin....so true, many things he spoke about and the older I get, the truer they become....love his talk about "stuff'...thanks by the way for leaving a comment on my blog...have a great day!

  2. Yes, I don't know why some people (mistakenly) think that comedians are only funny. They are great thinkers as well. All of the thought and insight it takes to be a successful comedian require alot of thought, ingenuity, problem solving, and creativity! TY for your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the post!
